Hey! Welcome to another issue of Frum Books, home of everything related to the frum publishing world. We’ve reached the longest Friday nights of the year, which might be your only chance to read that extra-long novel in one sitting. This issue is about the longest frum books that have been published and their pace - ranked from 1 to 5, slowest to fastest. (At this length, look at pace as an indication of how dragged out they are...)
Full Harvest - Read if you like historical fiction that gives you a real sense for a time period, or fiction that really explores the inner lives of characters and their struggles. If you appreciate quality writing, the unique style will keep you entertained and make up for the slow pace.
A Veiled Truth - Read if you like quality writing, a light and comedic tone, or realistic and rich personal development with an unexpected “thriller” twist
The Kingdom of Khazar Series - Read if you like strong plot and characters, strong themes and lessons subtly woven in, or historical fiction with dramatic and suspenseful action.
Even There, Even Now - Read if you like slow-paced and inspirational fiction
The Will - Read if you like suspenseful fiction with a plot that’s not all over the place: one group of characters, one setting, and some personal struggle themes as well
Set Me Free - Read if you like real-life coming-of-age fiction with self-awareness themes
The Freedom to Be - Read if you like realistic family-drama fiction centered around contemporary issues and hashkafic themes
The Mexico File - Read if you like The Will, or if you like mysterious and suspenseful fiction with a variety of unique and fascinating settings
After the Darkness - Read if you like a dramatic and moving family-drama fiction about broken relationships and self-growth
Burning Questions - Read if you like suspenseful and fast-paced thrillers spanning locations and time periods
Hidden - Read if you like suspenseful and intriguing historical fiction with a human element and a touch of drama
Freedom of Choice - Read if you like a slow-paced story with unique and original characters and struggles
